Pastor:
Reverend Denis Frediani is Pastor of the Evangelical Congregational Church of Tyngsboro, MA and the Director of Prison Aftercare Resources for Vision New England.
Denis has a Bachelors Degree in Bible from Gordon College and a Masters Degree from Denver Seminary. Denis has also been an adjunct Professor of Discipleship in Community at Bethel Seminary of the East. He has been in the pastoral ministry for over 30 years and has had a mentoring ministry for some 25 years. He has had the privilege of training many men for leadership in the local church and of intensively mentoring a number of men, several of whom are in some aspect of vocational ministry.
Denis is a former adjunct Professor of Discipleship in Community at Bethel Seminary of the East. Pastor Frediani believes that the local church is central in God's plan for the world (Mat. 16:18). He considers discipleship and mentoring to be a crucial part of the local church (2 Tim. 2:2); a spiritual leader is called to "equip the saints for the work of the ministry" (Eph. 4:10f). He seeks to accomplish this through a mentoring process that produces leaders to aid in shepherding the Church and who can effectively impact their marketplace and neighborhood for the glory of God. Since he also has the gift of teaching, Pastor Frediani seeks to make even difficult truths and passages both understandable and relevant.
